Poverty Reduction and Resilient Cities

This icon set for the Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) was for a project which recommended a portfolio of poverty reduction strategies in 10 cities across the US. The icons represent concepts of financial empowerment, environmental sustainability, and community engagement. They include Value Capture, Land Use, Childcare, Income, Opportunity, Transit, Social Capital, Workforce Training, Housing, Public Safety, Urban Agriculture, Renewable Energy, etc.

Mythological Figures

These icons, representing a wide cast of characters from Greek mythology, were used as table markers for a wedding celebration.

TOD Audiences

These three icons represent audiences for CNT’s work in Transit-Oriented Development (TOD). They were used on the organization’s website to invite Developers, Municipalities, and Advocates to learn more.

Stormwater Management

This group illustrates a variety of techniques that could be used to manage stormwater and prevent residential flooding. CNT’s stormwater management is site-specific as well as holistic, and these icons represent tactics such as Rain Gardens and Streetscape Enhancements (Trees), all the way up to Disaster Planning, Municipal Ordinances, and Treatment Facilities.
